William Robert Spalding, age 80 of Lebanon, passed away Monday September 27, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born March 05, 1941 in Marion County. He attended Holy name of Mary and St. Augustine Catholic Churches all of his life and was a devout Catholic. He worked at General Electric for 30 years. His favorite past times were hanging out at the family farm, and Nascar races.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Paul and Mildred Luckett Spalding; brother, Joseph Paul Spalding; niece, Karen White; and great-niece, Laura Jo Spalding.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sue Ann Spalding; son, William Kenneth Spalding; brothers, Pat (Lucille) Spalding, Sam (Brenda) Spalding, Carl (Glenda) Spalding, Mike (Rita) Spalding, and Tim (Rosie) Spalding; sisters, Mary Ann (Mike) Dodson, and Debbie (Mark) Spalding; sister-in-law, Joyce Spalding; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 01, 2021 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy name of Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.
