William Leroy Spalding, age 72, of Lebanon, was born on January 02, 1950 to the late Nanny and Jeff Spalding. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was retired from Houchens Grocery Store. His enjoyment was cooking.

William "Will" was preceded in death by his parents, as well as brothers Jeff Spalding (Ida), Eddie Spalding, Joe Spalding, Hubert Spalding (Cathy); and sisters Mary Spalding, Carol "Sissy" Spalding, and special friend, Brenda Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, William Vincent "Doodle" Spalding; two daughters, Cassandra Spalding Bell (Ted), Bethany Spalding, and a love child Kendraya Bridgewater.

He also leaves his grandchildren Sevric Spalding, Taron Sanders, Asia Dunn, Tyler Dunn, Quashe Spalding, Tylan Spalding, LeAndre Brown, Paris Brown, Ajacetin Brown, as well as great grandchildren Aundaria Spalding and Prosper Sanders.

William is also survived by sisters Fanny Edelen and Yolonda Simpson. Also, a very special friend Julia Lee Sickles and Step-son George Sickles.

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who William loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M.-10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home.
