Mr. Thomas Ray "Tommy" Simpson, age 76 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born on December 10, 1938 in Lebanon. Mr. Simpson was a retired teacher and coach for the Marion County Board of Education. He also enjoyed farming and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Chelf Simpson; parents, Grand Clellan and Gracie Mae Wilkerson Simpson; two sisters, Elsie Helen Tate and Frances Wright.

Survivors include daughter, Tyra (Michael) Shannon, of Cincinnati, OH; sons, Todd (Marty) Simpson, of Gravel Switch, KY and Troy (Julie) Simpson, of Cincinnati, OH; brother, Wesley Simpson, of Lebanon, KY; two sisters, Gladys Buckler, of Bardstown, KY and Brenda Hickey, of West Palm Beach, FL. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Tessa and Taylor Simpson, Levi and Ayla Simpson, Sydney, Logan, Devon, and Corey Shannon.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Lebanon Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. David Whitlock. Interment to follow in Ryder Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Lebanon Baptist Church from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
