Mr. Thomas Bernard "Bill" Caldwell, age 86, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Center. He was born on August 22, 1924 in Marion  County, KY. Mr. Caldwell was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee of General Motors Company in Dayton, OH, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mark Thomas and Susan Emma Ryan Caldwell; five brothers, James Ernest, Joseph Abbott, William Cletus, John Delmar, Francis Mark Caldwell; sister, Mary Josephine Abell.
Survivors include wife, Mary Rita Spalding Caldwell, of Lebanon, KY, son, Phillip Spalding Caldwell, of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Mary Elizabeth (John) Browning, of Louisville, KY
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Joe Dant.
