Ms. Tevis Loretta Brown, age 61,  passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was born on March 8, 1957 in Lebanon, KY. Ms. Brown was retired, having worked in the healthcare field. She was a member of The Church in Jesus' Name Apostolic Church in Columbia, KY, pastored by her brother, Bishop Richard Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Durham and Rita May Porter Brown; step-mother, Lillian Groves Brown; step-brother, Boyce Groves.

Survivors include five sisters, Diane Boyd, of Bowling Green, KY; Brenda Duncan, of Bowling Green, KY, Eva Thomas, of Campbellsville, KY, Barbara Porter, of Lebanon, KY, Martina Vargas (Louis), of Miami, FL; two brothers, William Thomas Brown (Agnes), of Miami, FL, Richard Allen Brown (Betty), of Bowling Green, KY; two step-sisters, Mary Frances Thompson (Alex), of Springfield, KY, Bertha Lee Burrell (Dennis), of Muncie, IN.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, as well as several extended family members and beloved friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated, Bishop Richard Brown. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home.
