Obituary

The following obituary was written by Mrs. Taylor's granddaughter, Brittany Malone.

Sue Ann "Nanny" Taylor went to rest peacefully with the Lord, her beloved son, Barry Pittman, her parents, Mattie and Coakley Followell and her three siblings, Ella, Eugene and Robert on November 17, 2016. Nanny passed away of natural causes in her home in Lebanon, KY.

Born on July 19, 1948 in Lebanon, she spent her sixty-eight years of life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nanny spent many years as a factory worker, loving babysitter, and as a store clerk at Superior Grocery Store in Bradfordsville, KY.

She was survived by her son, Robert Malone; sister, Iva Stanley; grandchildren, Dawson Pittman, Brittany and Abby Malone; great-grandsons, Brandon and Noah Lesher.

Nanny greeted everyone with open arms and a warm smile full of love. It didn't matter if you were family or someone she had just met. Her signature gift of joy shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten or matched by anyone else.

Words could never describe how much she was loved and adored by those that knew her or how much she will be missed. Nanny's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. We will remember her anytime we read a good book, have beans and cornbread or share a deep laugh. These were all the things she enjoyed.

Special thanks to Brenda and Ray Helm and other friends and neighbors for checking in on her and loving her like their own family.

At Nanny's request, no services will be held. Rest peacefully Nanny. We will be with you again one day.
