Sandra Coyle Owen, age 67 of Lebanon, KY, passed away at her home on Monday, September 22, 2014. Sandra was born on October 14, 1946 in Springfield, KY. She was a graduate of Springfield High School and Western Kentucky University. She taught in the Marion County School System from 1969 to 2014, devoting much of her time to the teen parenting program and working with special needs children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnett and Mildred Coyle.

Survivors include her loving husband of forty-eight years, Jackie Elias Owen; daughter, Lynn (Jim) Tencza; three grandchildren, Zack, Jack and Nate Tencza; brother, Gary (Sue) Coyle. Also surviving are several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces all of whom brought her great joy.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Bosley Funeral Home, celebrated by Father Alexis Kouri. Interment to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Springfield.

Visitations will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and will be held until service time at 11:00 a.m.
