Samuel "Sam" Farris, age 64 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014. He was born on August 5, 1950 in Marion County, KY. Sam was an avid University of Kentucky and Marion County High School sports fan. He loved to sing and play the piano. He looked forward each year to the Huston Family Kentucky Cousins Reunion held every July at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, William Howard and Dorothy Jean Rice Farris, of Lebanon; two brothers, Mike (Wanda) Farris and Mark (Debbie) Farris, both of Lebanon; two sisters, Joy (Rick) McCubbin, of Bowling Green, KY and Susan (Todd) Hood, of Elizabethtown, KY; Aunt, Delores Rice England, of Campbellsville, KY. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, the Sam Knopp Family who was his 2nd/ family, his Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church family and his many friends that he loved so much.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Steve Skaggs.Interment to follow in the New Market Cemetery.

Visitations will be as follows:
Friday - at Bosley Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Saturday - Beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church and will continue until time of service.
