Ruth Ann Stayton, age 83, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. She was born on June 4, 1943, in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Jack Wesley and Carmen Hasty Wicker. Mrs. Stayton was a faithful member of Bradfordsville Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and devoted her time after that to serving and caring for the people she loved the most, always there in a time of need and never missing an event, whether large or small. She devoted her life to her God and her church, witnessing to others, involved in hospitality, cleaning and decorating for special days, and saying the most heartfelt prayers during Sunday services. She loved cooking, gardening, yard work, and being surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Stayton; son, Larry Wayne Stayton; and her parents.

Survivors include her son, Bill (Carol) Stayton of Lebanon; daughter, Tammy (Monty) Parman of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Haley (Josh) Evans, Clint Parman, Wes (Heather) Stayton, Alex (Morgan) Parman, Trent (Shelby) Stayton; two siblings, Jackie Davis Wicker and Phyllis Hardin.

Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 08, 2026 at Bradfordsville Methodist Church. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, September 07, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home.
