Mr. Roy Barnett Hourigan, Jr, age 86, of Gravel Switch, KY, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011. He was born on April 8, 1925 in Marion County, KY. Roy owns a farm on Hourigan Lane in Gravel Switch, and was previously employed by the state of Kentucky.

He is perceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Nan Hays Hourigan (2004); son, Roy B. Hourigan, III, "Barry" (2009); father, Roy B. Hourigan Sr; mother, Mary Chambers Hourigan; two brothers, David and Wilson Hourigan; two sisters, Mary Margaret Taylor, and Glorianna Crane.

Survivors include granddaughter, Heather Hourigan (Chad) Pitschka, Brent (Stacey Davis) Hourigan; great-granddaughter, Emery Hourigan; four sisters, Alice Chambers, June Bridgewater, Jeanne Burch, Darnell Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitations and Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Visitations will be held from 10:00-2:00 p.m. at Bosley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. at Beech Fork Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Lee Arnold. Interment will be in Hayesville Cemetery.
