Roy Thomas Gribbins Jr., age 92 of Lebanon, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at Spring View Hospital. He was born February 26, 1930 in Bradfordsville to the late Roy Gribbins Sr, and Cora Raley Gribbins. Thomas retired from General Electric in Louisville. He loved his music, playing guitar, and singing karaoke, and loved golfing.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Benita Gribbins; daughters, Nancy Mattingly, and Sharon Jacobs; brothers, Jerry Allan Gribbins, and Billy Gribbins; sister, Wanda Lee Mack, and Maxine Smothers; and granddaughter, Tammy Mattingly.

Survivors include his children, Gerald (Sue) Gribbins of Campbellsville, Beverly, (Terry) Price of Lebanon, and Pam (Kenny) Brian of Lebanon; special friend, Melvina Hayden; also surviving are 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 341 Hood Avenue, Lebanon, KY 40033, officiated by Rev. Dwayne Southwood. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, and again from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Thursday at Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Gerald Dee Gribbins, Chris Lee, Matthew Inman, Will Mattingly, Andrew Moore, and Mike Mattingly.
