Rose Marie Purdy, age 93, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 03, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 15, 1931 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late James Thomas Ryan and Mary Marguerite Riggs Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Daniel Purdy; parents; son-in-law, Richard Gordon; brother, Dan Ryan.

Survivors include her four sons, Ross (Terri) Purdy of Waxhaw, NC, David Purdy of Lebanon, Mike (Ida) Purdy of Lebanon, Edward (Darlisa) Purdy of Lebanon; daughter, Linda Gordon of Springfield; two brothers, Pat (Ursula) Ryan and Mike (Wanda) Ryan, both of Louisville; sister-in-law, Jean Ryan of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Jennifer James, Ashley Prusiensky, Brian Purdy, Candi Price, Amber Wathen, Dakota Blanford, Neal Gordon, Emily Gordon; fifteen great-grandchildren, Megan James, Olivia James, Liam Prusiensky, Finn Prusiensky, Logan Prusiensky, Jayden Price, Aubrey Price, Paige Wathen, Kaylee Wathen, Mary Wathen, Craig Wathen, Addie Blanford, Isabella Blanford, Matthew Blanford, Brayden Gordon.

Pallbearers will be Brian Purdy, Neal Gordon, Matt Blanford, Craig Wathen, Jason Price, Collin Abell

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jennifer James, Ashley Prusiensky, Candi Price, Amber Wathen, Dakota Blanford, Emily Gordon.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 05, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M.; officiated by Deacon Dennis May.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 06, 2024. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
