Robert Ford Thomas, age 76 of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, August 03, 2022. He was born January 04, 1946 in Lebanon to the late Losh and Roberta Thomas.

Robert was a dedicated family man with a zest for life. He always had a smile on his face and loved to talk with anyone. He was a lifelong member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where he attended mass daily and volunteered on the bereavement committee. He retired from Angell Manufacturing after over 30 years as a supervisor and went on to work 3 more years at TG as a quality inspector. His passions included spending time with his family and friends, volunteering and helping anyone in need. He had a gift for lifting the spirits of anyone he met. Robert enjoyed watching his Kentucky Wildcats, tailgating with the Big Blue Army (known as the mayor of tailgating) and absolutely loved doing anything involving his beloved grandson, Blake.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Teddy Thomas, Joe (Carolyn) Thomas, and Suella (Howard) Cissell.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Kathleen Thomas; children, Tammy (Danny) Vittitow, and Chad (Tandy) Thomas; sisters, Jane (Pete-deceased) Caldwell, Margaret (Benny) Boone, and Trish (Vic-deceased) Moore; and grandson, Blake Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 08, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Interment will follow in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, August 07, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
