Robert Bernard Nally III, age 84 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 03, 2025 at the Villages of Murfreesboro in Murfreesboro, TN. Robert was born November 20, 1940 in Springfield to the late Robert Nally II and Rose (Montgomery) Nally. He was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was called to active duty from the National Guard during Desert Storm and served in Iraq. While in the Army, the multiple awards that he received were, Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, and the Armes Forces Reserve Medal. Robert was a graduate of St. Joe Prep School before he enlisted to serve in the Kentucky National Guard. During his enlistment, Mr. Nally worked for IBM in Quality Control for over 25 years. He then went to work for the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs and was a State Veterans Representative for over 20 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Nally II and Rose (Montgomery) Nally.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Nally; son, Harold (Phyllis) Nally of Lexington; daughters, Denise Nally of Lexington, and Missy (Dan) Gray of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Kitty (Jere) Nally Noe of Danville; and grandchildren, Jonathan George, Abigail (Jordan) Gray-Russell, Zachary (Cami) Gray, and Seth Gray.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home with Fr. David J. Farrell presiding. Interment will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Guard.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Seth Gray, Jordan Russell, Zach Gray, Jonathan George, Danny Gray, and Sherbie King.
