Rita Lois Moore, 80 of Louisville, KY, daughter of the late Linus Bright and Avis (England) Bright was born in Taylor County, KY on November 28, 1942 and departed this life peacefully on April 06, 2023.

She was united in marriage on July 15, 1972 to Walter H. Moore.

Rita was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. She enjoyed seweing and being outside going on walks. She worked at Fruit of the Loom for 10 years at Oakes Flag Company where she retired.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Jean Wilson, Faye Burton and Lorene Brockman.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Moore and Daughter, Peggy (Kory) Kock; one grandson, Colton Kock and one granddaughter, Tessa Kock; two brothers, Willard Bright, Alvin (Judy) Bright; and brother-in-law, Randall Brockman; four sisters, Christine Greer, Judy Brockman, Margaret Burness and Patricia (Gary) Gray.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home officiated by Deacon Jimmy Richardson. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Hills Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday at Bosley Funeral Home.
