Mr. Richard Howard "Bob" Spalding, 89, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Center. He was born on October 25, 1928 in Marion County, KY. Mr. Spalding worked as a farmer while also working for Gro-Green fertilizing company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. "Dick" Spalding and Lillian Thomas Spalding; brother, William Alfred "Buck" Spalding; two sisters, Lallie Willett and Frances "Fannie" Rudd; two sons, William A. "Billy" Spalding (1969), and Paul Martin Spalding (2015); granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Spalding (1980); son-in-law, Paul Peterson.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Imogene Hill Spalding; two sons, Joe H. Spalding (Joyce), of Lebanon, and Mike Spalding (Trena), of Lebanon; four daughters, Phyllis Barnett (Ken), of Louisville, Debbie Hamilton (Doug), of Springfield, Kaye Peterson, of Lebanon; and Fran Smith (Terry), of Loretto; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Jean Crawford (Jim) of Versailles, and Ann Barbato of Simi Valley, California.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, celebrated by Rev. Terry Bradshaw. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer Services will be held at 7:00 Wednesday evening by Deacon Dennis May.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paul Martin Spalding Memorial Fund, Hospice, or Mass of the Air.
