Richard Minor Lawson, age 86, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 31, 1938 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late William Howard and Effie Gertrude Lawson. Mr. Lawson served in the army during the Cuban missile crisis, was a proud veteran, worked over 65 years at Deeps Farm supply, served as a Deacon and was faithful member of Stewarts Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of UK Basketball and the Boston Red Sox. In his spare time in enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two great-granddaughters, Emma Smith and Addison Wren.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bernice Ann Lawson of Lebanon; three children, Cindy (Chris) Mills, Michael (Penny) Lawson, Debbie (Bobby) Thompson all of Lebanon; brother, Charlie (Lilly) Lawson of Taylorsville.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Stewarts Creek Baptist Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, August 23, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home and on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Stewarts Creek Baptist Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
