Mr. Rex Allen Lanham, age 62 of Gravel Switch, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, KY. He was born on July 11, 1951 in Marion County, KY. Mr. Lanham worked as a farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie James and Annie Frances Allen Lanham; five brothers, Chester Ray "Check", Bill, John David, Luther D. "Doc", and Jackie "Jack" Lanham.

Survivors include his wife, Cheorkeenia Hardin Lanham, of Gravel Switch, KY; son, Travis Allen and wife May "Scooby" Sullivan Lanham, of Gravel Switch, KY; grandson, Sebastian Ryan Lanham, of Lebanon, KY. Also surviving are several Nieces, Nephews, Sister-in-laws, and Friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Bosley Funeral Home, officated by Rev. Alvin Wren. Interment will be in the Hayesville Cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 5:00 p.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home.
