Paul I. Simpson's Obituary
Mr. Paul I. Simpson,
age 90 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Oak Lawn Rehabilitation Center in Louisville, KY. He was born on December 19, 1922 in Marion County, KY. Mr. Simpson was a retired employee of Louisville General Electric, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Willie and Mary Alice Simpson; step-son, William Phillip Dunn; step-daughter, Yumnah Aguba-el; grandson, William Darrow Dunn; brothers, W.D. "Tutt" Simpson, George Furman, William Furman, Eugene Furman; sister, Lizzie Furman.
Survivors include wife of thirty-one years, Mary Angela Simpson, of Lebanon, KY; step-daughter, Angela (Gregory) Berry, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y; brother, George Simpson, of Lebanon, KY; sister, Mary Catherine Ridgeway, of Lebanon, KY. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Chris Rhodes. Interment will be in the Holy Name of Mary Church Cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 11:00-12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home.
