Mrs. Nonie George, age 100 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Village of Lebanon. She was born in Louisville, KY on February 4, 1913. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years, Hyleme S. George, Sr.; parents, Jacob and Sara Abraham Deeb; brother, Harry Abraham Deeb; sister, Emma Coury.

She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Bertha Jacobs, of Louisville, KY; four sons, Dr. Salem M. Sr. (Eva) George, of Lebanon, KY, Dr. Anthony, Sr. (Judy) George, of Louisville, KY, Donald Sr. (Margaret) George, of Lebanon, KY, Hyleme S. Jr. (Peg) George, of Overland Park, KS; three daughters, Irene (Jerry) Raterman, of Louisville, KY, Jo Ann (Mark, Sr.) Gormley, of Versailles, KY, Debbie (John) Mathews, of Bardstown, KY; twenty-one grandchildren, Dr. Nonie George (Marty) Cogan, Dr. Salem M. Jr. (Lu Ann) George, Tim (Ann) George, Dr. David (Jodi) George, Caroline (Richard) Meena, Marianne (Mike) Peters, Dr. Mark E. Jr. (Laura) Gormley, Tamra (John Hays) Gormley, Dr. John M. (Catherine) Gormley, Kathleen (Ron) Johnson, Dr. Tony Jr. (Kathy) George, Jodi (Barry) Gorter, Jennifer (Rudy) Straub, Donald George, Jr., Jacqueline (Tony) Omohundro, Hyleme S. III, (Anne) George, Dr. Matthew George, Dr. Christopher George, Coury Mathews (Patrick) Hobbs, John B. Jr. (Tiffany) Mathews, Michael (Erin) Mathews; forty-two great-grandchildren; five sister-in-laws, Mary Thompson, Genella Shaheen, Hannah Thomas, Lucille Moison, Margaret George; and brother-in-law, Glenn George. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, officated by Rev. Bill Bowling. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
