Mrs. Mildred L. Spalding, age 98, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011. She was born on June 9, 1912 in Washington County, KY.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paul "Hutt" Spalding; parents, Sam B. and Mary Ellen Beaven Luckett; granddaughter, Karen White; great-granddaughter, Laura Jo Spalding.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Ann (Mike) Dodson, of Bardstown, KY, Debra Lynn (Mark) Spalding, of Lebanon, KY, William Robert (Sue Ann) Spalding, of Lebanon, KY, Sam Luckett (Brenda) Spalding, of Lebanon, KY, Charles Michael (Rita) Spalding, of Lebanon, KY, Carl (Glenda) Spalding, of Lebanon, KY, John Timothy (Rosie) Spalding, of Lebanon, KY; sister, Mary Ellen Parlett, of Dayton, OH; twenty-eight grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Joe Dant.
Expressions of sympathy for Mrs. Spalding may take the form of contributions to the Holy Name of Mary Church Cemetery fund.
