Merle Maxine Bowman Brady, age 89 of Bardstown, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21, 2023 at her daughter's home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born October 26, 1934 to the late J. Eugene Bowman and Mary Cecelia Bowman.

Merle was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Chandler Brady and brother, William Orville Bowman.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Michele Walker of Cincinnati, Melanie Brady Drury of Cincinnati ; Melisa Brady Sloan; sister, Janet Marie Barger of Louisville; grandchildren, Timothy Drury (Anne) of Mooresville, NC, Kelly Marie Drury of Cincinnati, Lauren Drury Cambridge (Brandon) of Cincinnati, John McCauley Drury of Cincinnati, Andrew Walker of Bardstown, and Louis Walker of Cincinnati; and great-grandchildren, Owen and Liam Drury of Mooresville, NC, and Sadie and Ryan Cambridge of Cincinnati.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
