Mattie Pearl Bedford, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 27, 1924 in Lebanon, Kentucky. Mrs. Bedford was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her 1 ^st husband, Roy David Leffew; 2 ^nd husband, William Henry Bedford; grandson, Ronald Kevin Hourigan; parents, John Henry Elliott and Sarah Annie Hall Elliott; four brothers, John Henry Elliott, William Lee Elliott, Franklin David Elliott, Charles Marvin "Buddy" Elliott; six sisters, Hattie Frances Simpson, Lottie Mae Simpson, Rosa Corrine Akin, Dorothy Faye Mattingly, Anna Marilyn Armes, Carrie Lou Rhinehart; and four step siblings.

Survivors include her two sons, Mike (Robin) Bedford of Stamping Ground, KY, and Terry Lee Bedford of Lawrenceburg, KY; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Hourigan (Bud) Tungate of Lebanon, KY, and Peggy Jo Warner of Lawrenceburg, KY; two special friends, Vera Mae Boggs and Carol Mccullough.

Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 29, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Ryder Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 the funeral home is limited to 60% capacity. Face coverings are required to enter the facilities. Food and drinks are not allowed at this time.
