Mary Elizabeth Smith, age 88, of St. Mary's, KY, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on February 27, 1929 in Marion County, Kentucky. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by:
Husband: Joseph Martin Smith, Jr.
Son: Joseph Michael Smith.
Parents: Charles David and Mary Rita Shockency Hayden.
Two Daughters: LaTonya Smith and Florence Marie Smith.
Two Sisters: Mary Catherine Bell and Christine Webster.
Three Brothers: Joseph William Hayden, Charles Sam Hayden and Louis Hayden.

Survivors include:
Four Sons: Lawrence Smith—Louisville, KY;
James Smith—Louisville, KY;
Donald Smith--St. Mary's, KY.
Mark (Cassandra) Smith—Atlanta, GA
Four Daughters: Rita Porter—Bardstown, KY;
Liz Hayden—Louisville, KY;
Deborah Trigg—Lebanon, KY;
Bernadette (Wallace) Stanley—Bardstown, KY.
Brother: Lawrence Hayden—St. Mary's, KY.
Three Sisters: Bertha Lewis—Chillicote, OH;
Ann Walker—Lebanon, KY;
Anna Hatcher—Campbellsville, KY.

Also surviving twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 16, 2018 at the St. Charles Catholic Church; Officiated by Father David Naylor. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:30 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home.
