aMrs. Mary Ella Hayden, age 79 of St. Marys, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Bardstown Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on April 13, 1938 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Hayden was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Louis Hayden; parents, Albert and Louise Mills Cissell.

Survivors include three daughters, Susan Miller, of Campbellsville, KY, Sheila Alexander, of Campbellsville, KY, Carol Golden, of Columbia, KY; two sons, James Hayden, of Ohio, Tim Hayden, of Washington State; special friend, John Hart, of Lebanon, KY; five sisters, Grace Warfield, of Indianapolis, IN, Georgia Bell, of Lebanon, KY, Cathy Mathews, of Tennessee, Theresa Parrish, Indianapolis, IN, Margaret Cissell, of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Thomas Cissell and Bill Cissell. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A Mass of Chrisitain Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Charles Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home.
