Mary Margaret George, age 71 of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Home. She was born November 24, 1949 in Lebanon to the late Leonard Lanham and Ruby Brady Lanham. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She had many hobbies but her favorite hobby was caring for and spending time with her pride and joy, her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald George Sr.; parents; and sisters Bernice Lanham and Carol Flock.

Survivors include her son, Donald Joseph George Jr. of Lebanon; daughter, Jackie (Tony) Omohundro of Richmond; grandchildren, Paige and Phoebe Omohundro of Richmond; brothers, J.L. (Mary) Lanham, Jerry (Janie) Lanham, Leon (Carol) Lanham, and Robert (Christine) Lanham, all of Lebanon; and sisters, Lois (Joe) Newton of Ohio, and Edith Caldwell of Lebanon.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Dr. David George, Dr. Salem George Jr., Timmy George Sr., Jerry Lanham, Greg Caldwell, and Tony Omohundro. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Alex George, Salem Michael George III, Timmy George Jr., and Dr. Tony George Jr.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can take place in the form of contributions to St. Augustine School for new playground equipment, 236 S. Spalding Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033.
