Mary Elizabeth Garrett, age 90 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on June 5, 1928 in Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Author Tharp; second husband, Herbert Garrett; third husband, Joe Harrison Garrett; parents, Harvey and Sue Ann Powell Thompson; three sisters, Dorothy Turner, Sue Key, and Agnes Lanham; two brothers, Bert Thompson and Joe Thompson.
Survivors include three sisters, Martha Phelps, of Louisville, KY, Virginia Clerk, of Eastview, KY, Rosa Moore, of Upton, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Clellan Hays. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
