Mrs. Mary Jean Brockman, age 87 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born on December 15, 1929 in Bradfordsville, KY. Mrs. Brockman was a homemaker and member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Winifred Brockman (1981); parents, Ernest and Essie Smothers Gribbins; sister, Maxine Smothers.

Survivors include son, Steve (Lana) Brockman, of Lebanon, KY, four sisters, Shirley Battcher, of Lebanon, KY, Bonnie (Tommy) Wathen, of Campbellsville, KY, Sharon (Wilson) Gilbert, of Lancaster, KY, Debbie Price, of Campbellsville, KY; brother, Donald (Gail) Gribbins, of Munfordsville, KY.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Brockman will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Rick Catron. Interment to follow in Ryder Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
