Mary Louise Bland, 91 of Calvary, KY, passed away on January 03, 2024 at her home. Born in Phillipsburg, KY on July 08, 1932 to the late John Otha Shively and Mary Settie Brown Shively.

Louise was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, seamstress, and caregiver. She was a member of the Calvary Quilters, and a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. She was a devoutly prayerful woman and very true to her Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Ben S. Bland; step-mother, Lena Brown Shively; brother, Harold (Mabel) Shively; half-brother, John Jimmy (Josephine) Shively; half-sister, Theresa (Charles) Lowe; brother-in-law, Cecil Cox; and son-in-law, Lonnie Burton.

Left to cherish her memory, sister, Matilda Cox; 9 children, Karen Burton, Ricky (Diane) Bland, Nancy Thomas, Settie (Larry) Boeshart, Kevin (Ronda) Bland, Lisa (Larry) Brady, Anita (Jim) Woford, Alice (Terry) Graves, and John (Cindy) Bland; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Also survived by many loving members of the Shively, Brown, and Bland families, and Calvary Community.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 06, 2024 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 3295 New Calvary Road, Lebanon, KY 40033. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, January 05, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home, with as prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are, Matt Burton, Brad Tatum, Keith Bland, Chad Brady, Jeremy Yates, and Wesley Bland.

Honorary Pallbearers are, Jay Bland, Ben Woford, Chase Brady, Jonathan Bland, and Austin Graves.
