Martie Dean Deering Sr., age 57 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Spring View Hospital. He was born January 18, 1964 in Marion County to Paul and Alma Deering. Martie did construction work for over 30 years in Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Deering.

Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Jones, Karmin Tucker, Kylah Tucker, and Sassha Whitlock; son, Martie Deering Jr.; mother, Alma Deering; sisters, Cathy Elder, and Janie Gilbert; brothers, Paul "Dougie" Deering, Randy Deering, Dana Deering, and Timmy Deering; and grandchildren, Kaylee Leake, Lindsey Deering, Mia Kate Jones, Ally Deering, and Blake Deering.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 03, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Deering officiating. Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
