Mrs. Martha Ruth Christerson Keeling, age 92 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Village of Lebanon. She was born on December 21, 1922 in Mackville, KY. Mrs. Keeling was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a retired employee of Jane & Linda Sportswear, having worked for the company forty years. She also served as the secretary and treasurer of Local 472 for twenty years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Keeling (5/3/1973); parents, Will and Myrtle Christerson; son, Jerry Keeling; sister, Mary Helen Russell.

Survivors include two sons, Bruce Keeling, of Lebanon, KY, Mike Keeling, of Louisville, KY; daughter, Ruth Ann Cocanougher (Junior) of Harrodsbueg, KY; sister, Jean (Wesley) Shewmaker, of Springfield, KY; five grandchildren. David, Kevin, Lisa and Jamie Keeling, of Louisville, KY, Dennis Cocanougher, of Harrodsburg, KY. Also surviving is one great-grandson and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by her grandson, Rev. David Keeling. Interment to follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home.
