Mrs. Martha Ann Brown, age 83 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Suburban Hospital in Louisville. She was born on April 27, 1930 in Lebanon, KY. Ann was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, and a retired employee of the Marion County Board of Education, having worked with the Board over thirty years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willie Brown; parents, James (Buffalo) and Agnes Claybrooks Vaughn; daughter, Joann Brown, son, William Kevin Brown; sister, Anna Marie Vaughn; brother, Tommy Vaughn.

Survivors include six daughters, Mary Ann (James) Johnson, Louisville, KY, Juanita (Foster) Manley, Decatur, GA, Phyllis (Fonzie) Johnson, Lebanon, KY, Martha Edelen, Louisville, KY, Joanna (Bernard) Kemp, Stone Mountain, GA, Gail (John) King, Lebanon, KY; son, Keith (Cheryl) Brown, Kennesaw, GA; fourteen grandchildren, Christy, Stephanie, Angie, Davian, Michael, Ashley, Joseph, Jr, Brianna, Ann-Michelle, Natalie, Allyson, Andrea, Alexis and Keith Ashton. Also surviving are ten great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Jerry Bell. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Joe Dant.
