Martha Harlene Abell, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 05, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 08, 1939 in Lebanon to the late William Edward and Mary Elizabeth Knopp. Mrs. Abell was a retired dietary manager at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Eddie Knopp, Randall Knopp, and Vickie Brady; and son-in-law, Richard Williamson.

Survivors include her loving husband, James Bernard Abell; children, Billy Abell, Donna Benningfield, Bobby (Elaine) Abell, Anita (Brian) Roberts, and Sara Williamson; brother, Donnie (Connie) Knopp; sister, Mary (Randall) Spalding; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Knopp; grandchildren, Jamie (Nicole) Abell, Megan (William) Norris, Ashley Benningfield, Amanda Benningfield, Tiffany (Brian) Pickard, Nicholas (Julie) Smothers, Nicole (Michael) Cambron, and Dylan Browning; great-grandchildren, Laney Norris, Raelyn and Charlie Abell, Peyton Stumph, Ellie Benningfield, Maddie and Jacob Purdom, Harley and Reece Cambron, Kennedy, Briley, and Abel Pickard; and grand-fur-baby, Molly Pearl.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 09, 2026 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 08, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
