Marian Cecelia "Mimi" Tong Thomas, age 81 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was born on November 15, 1932 in Bardstown, KY, to the late Charles and Cecelia Mattingly Tong. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Thomas; her brother, Charles "Buddy" Tong; and sisters, Josephine "Jo" Tong Leathers and Mary Agnes Tong Byrnes.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Jerry) Lentz, of Louisville, KY and Patti (Brad) Smith, of Louisville; two sons, Sam (Patty) Thomas, Jr., of Franklin, TN, and Doug Thomas of Lebanon. Also surviving are five grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Masonic Home and Fresenius Dialysis Center for the loving care and support.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
