Margaret Viola Spalding, age 79 of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was born January 02, 1946 in Lebanon to the late Ohrious and Helen Porter.

Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Bridgewater and James Tommy Spalding Sr.; brothers, J.L. Porter, Frank Porter, Neal Porter, and Adrian Porter; sisters, Beatrice Washington and Susan Yocum; and grandson, David Litsey Jr.

Survivors include her children, Linda (David) Litsey, George (Mary) Porter, Lee (Melinda) Bridgewater, Melissa (Joseph) Young, Tina Spalding, Amanda Spalding, and James William Spalding Jr.; sisters, Josie Spalding, and Nannie McKay; also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 A.M. at Bosley Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
