Margaret Shepherd Mattingly, age 70 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 06, 1954 in Lebanon to the late Ella Frances and Charles Shepherd.

Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Byron S. Myers.

Survivors include her husband, Steven E. Mattingly; daughter, Stephanie (Jason) Smith of Campbellsville; step-daughters, Kelly Mattingly and Destiny Mattingly, both of Loretto; Step-son, Michael (Jessica) Mattingly of Lebanon, brother, James (Leigh) Shepherd of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Chase Craig of Campbellsville; granddaughter, Jenna Smith of Richmond; step-granddaughter, Lilah Grider; brothers-in-law, Bernard, George, Donald, Leonard and Wayne Mattingly; sisters-in-law, Fay Beach Whitfill, Kay DeMurray, and Anita Smith; special family members, Lena Lootens of Erlanger and Geraldine Miles of Honea Path, SC; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 02, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home with Deacon Dennis May officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 01, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home.
