Mrs. Margaret Mary "Margie" Borders, age 88, of Lebanon, KY,  passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Center. She was born on July 19, 1922 in Nelson County, KY. Mrs. Borders was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles LaMonte Borders, parents, Thomas Nazaire and Edna Florence Edelen Filiatreau, granddaughter, Ann Kirsten Borders, and son-in-law, Edward Killian.
Survivors include two sons, Montie Borders, of Red Estates, CA, Doug Borders, of Louisville, KY; five daughters, Linda Borders-Killlian, of Orange County, CA, Elaine Simms, of Springfield, KY, Marilyn Murley, of Elizabethtown, KY, Joanne Bramel, of Lebanon, KY, Jennifer Cowley, of Lexington, KY; sister, Edna Hamilton, of Bardstown, KY.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 at  St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Augustine Church Cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with a prayer service that evening held by Deacon Sam Filiatreau.
