Margaret George, age 99, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 07, 1924 to the late Jacob Mike Jacobs and Naffa Audi Jacobs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip S. George, Sr.; son, James D.B. "Jamie" George; parents; four sisters, Manira Merheb, Nazara Shaheen, Annie Jacobs, Evelyn Booth; and three brothers, Michael Jacobs, William Jacobs, George Jacobs.

Survivors include her three sons, Philip S. George, Jr. (Karol) of Lexington; Doughlas M. "Dodie" George (Lou Ann) of Lexington; Alan J. George (Geri) of Versailles; and daughter, Jacqueline Fadel (Dan) of Louisville.

Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 05, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass on Tuesday, March 05, 2024.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Augustine School, 236 S Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, KY 40033.

Pallbearers are Jay Stout, Philip S. George III, Matthew George, Brian George, Michael George, Nicholas George, and Christopher George.
