Mrs. Margaret Ann Elder, age 89 of St. Mary's, KY, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at Spring View Hospital. She was born on April 17, 1924 in Lebanon, Ky. Mrs. Elder was a Homemaker and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Elder, Sr. (2007); parents, John Buford and Mayola Carrico Caldwell; brother, Eugene Caldwell.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Elder, of St. Mary's, KY, Lisa (Mike) Venn, of Versailles, KY; sons, James Harold "Jimmy" Elder, Jr, of St. Mary's, KY, Doug (Anita) Elder, of St. Mary's, KY; five grandchildren, Erica Cecil, Jennifer Cecil, Chad Venn, Nikolas Venn, and Tricia Robert; five great-grandchildren, Olivia Gaddie, Gavin Lee, Thomas Phelps, Scarlett Blandford and Luke Robert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitations will be held after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
