Marcella Parrott Day, age 75, of Louisville, formerly of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her residence.
She had retired from Walter F. Meuter Customhouse Brokers in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Lee and Mary Lucille Parrott, Sr., six brothers, Virgil Lee Parrott, Jr., Charles Parrott, James Parrott, Joseph Parrott, Stanley Parrott, and Thomas Parrott; three sisters, Elizabeth Anne Neil, Mary Rita Newton, Jane Carol Haleman.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Lee Canaday (Theresa) of Louisville, KY; grandson, Nicholas Canaday; granddaughter, Ella Canaday; two sister-in-laws, Delores Parrott of Lincoln, IL, Sherry Parrott of Lebanon, KY; her longtime companion, Homer Sosh, Jr. of Louisville, KY.
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bosley Funeral Home.
