Lucy Marie Downs Craig, age 91, of Lebanon, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 02, 2025 at 6:21 P.M. surrounded by her loving and devoted children and grandchildren. She was born on December 17, 1933 to the late Lee and Ruth Detherage Downs. Mrs. Craig was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church where she was a lector, Eucharistic Minister and Religious education teacher. She was also a member of Marion County Cattlemen's, Farm Bureau Women's Group, volunteer at Spring View Hospital and school reading programs. Lucy enjoyed having her family at her home and loved to cook for them. She enjoyed watching ballgames and tending to her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Craig; sons, Donald Lee, William Ray and Joseph Wayne Craig; two grandchildren, James Barry Craig Jr. and John Craig Thompson; siblings, Leola Mattingly and Doyle Downs.

Survivors include her seven children, Debbie Dicken, Jeannie Craig, Jerry (Lois) Craig, Eddie Craig, Ann (John) Thompson, Barry (Tonya) Craig, Dennis (Beth) Craig; sister, Mary Francis Mattingly (Julian Thompson).

Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 06, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M., officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 07, 2025 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers (Grandsons): Brandon Craig, Justin Craig, Nick Wood, Hunter Craig, Matthew Craig, Christopher Craig, Aaron Craig, Adrian Craig, Simon Craig, Henry Craig, Peyton Craig, Michael Craig.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Our Lady of the Hills Cemetery Fund.
