Louis Mitchell Abell, age 87, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, August 02, 2020 at Spring View Hospital. He was born on January 09, 1933 in Lebanon, Kentucky. Mr. Abell was a United States Army Veteran and a retired diesel mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Abell and Mary Vida Mitchell Abell; sister, Laura Abell Smith; grandson, Brian Louis Seals.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Smith Abell of Lebanon, KY; two daughters, Brenda Carol Seals, Betty Wethington both of Lebanon, KY; three grandchildren, Katelyn Seals of Cincinnati, OH, Rachel Wethington of Glasgow, KY, Austin Wethington of Lebanon, KY.

Also surviving are two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 05, 2020 at Bosley Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 04, 2020 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M., officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is restricted to 50% capacity. Visitors paying their respects will be asked to wait during busy period until others leave before entering the funeral home. Food or beverages are not permitted at this time. Face masks are required to enter the facility.
