Lola Jane Brown, age 77 of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Flaget Hospital in Bardstown, KY. She was born on November 15, 1946 in Bardstown, KY to the late Herman and Monzell (McCubbins) Johnson. Lola was an avid University of Kentucky fan; and famously known as being the biggest jokester.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Brown Sr.; daughter, Lola Fay Brown; and siblings, JoAnn Johnson, Judy Livers, Phillip Johnson, William Smith, and Lonnie Johnson.

Survivors include her sons, Ernie Lee Brown Jr., Tim (Tina) Brown, and Joe (Dana) Brown; brothers, Basil (Annie) Smith, Arthur (Glenna) Smith, and Van (JoAnn) Johnson; grandchildren, Courtney Brown, Megan Brown, Ricky (Stacey) Brown, Cheyenne Brown, Tyler (Kora) Brown, Cameron (Kathleen) Brown, Mason Brown, Jenna Brown, Dalton, Carrie, Cassie, and Salem; also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 29, 2024 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 303 W. Main Street, Springfield, KY 40069, officiated by Fr. David J. Farrell. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Bosley Funeral Home, 246 S. Proctor Knott Avenue, Lebanon, KY 40033, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Fr. David J. Farrell.

Pallbearers are Arthur Smith, Tyler Brown, Cameron Brown, Mason Brown, Philip Johnson, and Ricky Brown.
