Mrs. Lenora Knifley Young, age 92, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Taylor County Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY. She was born on January 31, 1919 in Riley, KY.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Young; parents, John William and Ada Mae Edwards Knifley; brothers, John Will Knifley, Ernest Jarboe, and Charles Frank Jarboe; sister, Luila Bell Shively.
Surviving are a host of nieces and nephews, along with a special friend, L.C. Thornton, of Lebanon, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Tommy Calhoun. Interment will be in the Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitations will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be held until time of services.
