Larry Edward “Meece” Williamson, of Holy Cross, passed away peacefully on September 09, 2026 at his home. Meece loved his daughter, Emily and his granddaughter Alexis, grandson, Tristin, and great-grandchildren, Greyson, Willow, and Lulu more than anything in this world. He was a proud Vietnam vet. Larry loved the military and his country more than life. Meece loved farming and gardening. He had a green thumb and could grow anything. He was a beloved Dad, Papaw and Great-papaw who will truly be missed. Meece was old school and wanted to be remembered as such.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Preston “Bob” Williamson and Pauline Williamson (Clark); brothers, Joe and Ralph Williamson; sisters, Betty Williamson, June Whiting, Frances Culver, Carolyn Clements, and Judy McMakin.

Survivors include his daughter, Emily Williamson (Jeremy Harmon); grandchildren, Alexis Carrier, Tristin White, Presley Harmon; great-grandchildren, Greyson Barnes, Willow Woods, Lulu Harmon; brother, Bobby (Kim) Williamson; sisters, Becky Ryan, Mary Culver, Janie (Don) Pengerworth.

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, friend and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday September 16, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Alan “Speed Taylor, Cobb Roberts, Smiley Clark, Byron “Stretch” Williamson, and Robuck Hicks.
