On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, June Carroll Rucker, passed away in Louisville, KY at the age of 80. June was born to parents Arthur and Frances Rucker on June 4, 1941 in Lawrenceburg KY.  He was a founding member of Central Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and taught Sunday School for many years. He was a member of Gideons International. June also co-owned Lebanon Wholesale with his mother & brother. He was a board member Lebanon Water Works for 30 years.

June was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Joyce, his brother Danny and his second wife Geri.  He is survived by his four children, Becky Clark (Tim), Vicky Hatchel, Steve Rucker (Kelly) and Kara Hamilton (Todd); 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Ryder Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Alzheimers Association or Hospurus of Central Kentucky.

Pallbearers are his grandsons, Dylan Hatchel, Austin Hatchel, Dalton Rucker, Greyson Rucker, Matthew Tharp, Blake Tharp.

Honorary Pallbearers are Marvin Gardner, David Rakes, John Helm, Jerry Tutt, Phillip George, Hayden Johnson
