Mrs. Joyce Ann Maupin Payne, age 79 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born on May 13, 1934 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Payne was a retired supervisor for the Marion County Board of Education, and a member of the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Conway Payne; parents, Jessie and Irene Roots Maupin.

Survivors include two daughters, Gayla (Tommy) Kelly, of Lebanon, KY, Charlotte (Ronnie) Benningfield, of Lebanon, KY; sister, Pansy Mattingly, of Lebanon, KY; three grandchildren, Amanda Farmer and Brook and Dustin Benningfield. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Steve Skaggs. Interment to follow in the New Market Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Bosley Funeral Home.
