Mr. Joseph Thelbert Knopp, age 95 of Calvary, KY, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born on February 8, 1920 in Lebanon, KY. Mr. Knopp was a retired farmer and member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Elizabeth Moore Knopp; parents, Edgar Paul and Ethel Stella Bright Knopp; brothers, Ed and Sam Knopp; sisters, Pauline Raikes, Agnes Bischoff, Silvia Caldwell and Thelma Curtis.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Joan) Knopp, of Campbellsville, KY; daughters, Sabrina Knopp, of Calvary, KY, Cathy (Allen) Thompson, of Louisville, KY; sisters, Frances Gordon, of Finley, KY, Mae Morgeson, of Lebanon, KY. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Joseph J. Knopp, John Knopp and Adam Thompson, two great-grandchildren, McKinley and Isabelle Knopp, and two step-great-grandchildren, Ty and Abi Murphy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home with prayer services being held at 7:00 p.m.
