Mr. Joseph Garland "Joey" Thompson, age 53 of Bradfordsville, KY, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 8, 1963 in Louisville, KY. Mr. Thompson enjoyed farming and was a retired employee of Lebanon Community Action.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Jeffrey Thompson.

Survivors include wife, Sallye Lampley Thompson, of Bradfordsville, KY; daughter, Evan Thompson, of Orlando, FL; sons, Jake Thompson and Kirk Thompson, both of Gravel Switch, KY; parents, Joe and Darlene Thompson, of Lebanon, KY; two sisters, Dana (Dick) Harlan, of Prospect, KY, Kristi (Marty) Record, of Lebanon, KY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Hayesville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at Bosley Funeral Home with prayer services at 7:00 Monday evening by Deacon Dennis May.
