Mr. Joseph Raymond Ellery, age 85 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY. He was born on August 7, 1931 in Springfield, KY. Mr. Ellery was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Knights of St. Peter Claver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Maggie Josephine Weathers Ellery; two brothers, John W. and James E. Ellery.

Survivors include wife, Theresa Hodgens Ellery, of Lebanon, KY; two sons, Joseph (Dorothy) Ellery and John Ellery, both of Lebanon, KY; three daughters, Mary Ann (Allen) Lewis, Betty Jane Ellery, Rosie Ellery, all of Lebanon, KY; brother, Thomas Albertus Ellery, of Lexington, KY; sister, Rose Mary Dawson, of Mansfield, OH. Also surviving are two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the St. Dominic/Holy Rosary Church Cemetery in Springfield, KY.

Visitation will be held at Bosley Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday and continuing until 10:30 a.m. at which time we will begin preparing to depart for the church.
